‘Government can’t govern:’ Mettam on Hakea staff lockdown after safety concerns
The staff at Hakea prison went on lockdown this morning, refusing to open cells with safety concerns from overcrowding.
WA Liberal Leader Libby Mettam joined Oliver Peterson on Perth Live expressing her disappointment in the current government, saying they were enjoying the largest boom in the states history but are struggling to properly manage safety.
“This is just another example of a government that don’t know how to govern,” Mettam said.
