Government responds quickly to veteran suicide recommendations
Over 85% of the Royal Commission’s recommendations on veteran suicide have been accepted by the Federal Government.
Matt Keogh, Federal Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, explained to 6PR’s Gary Adshead how the recommendations are predominantly focused on culture and accountability in leadership.
“This is about making sure we’re able to get the best out of our personnel, who are our most important capability, and ensure they are looked after at the same time,” he said.
