Australia’s net migration is set to be halved within the next two years following a dramatic move to slash international student numbers.

Study Perth CEO Derryn Belford told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the decision will have a adverse affect.

“The changes to the system they’re imposing have the potential to close the gate for genuine students,” she said.
