Qantas has announced its chair, Richard Goyder will retire late next year.

The airline is renewing its board as it tries to restore trust in the company; the other board members will also retire.

Finance commentator Evan Lucas told Millsy band Karl on 6PR Breakfast that by the looks of it, a number of said board members might be gone by the end of this year.

“Qantas keeps going from problem to problem,” Mr Lucas said.
