Greenland’s value is in the spotlight as the US shows interest in owning the world’s largest island
The US President-elect, Donald Trump, is keen for the United States to ‘take ownership’ of Greenland.
6PR Breakfast hosts Ian and Mick spoke to Associate Professor Jonathan Boymal from Economics, Finance & Marketing at RMIT and asked what that would cost and why Trump is so keen.
“Greenland is rich in untapped resources, including coal, rare earth minerals, and vast oil reserves,” he said.
