Guilty: Donald Trump convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records
Donald Trump is the first US President to be convicted of a crime, having been found guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records.
Mr Trump continues his dogged opposition to the charges despite the verdict, declaring the “real” result will be on Election Day in November.

US Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the prosecution has been trying for weeks to get the jury over the line.
“In the end, it took 12 hours of deliberation; this, at the very least, will be a financial hit for Donald Trump,” he said.
