GWS defender Sam Taylor has expressed no fear facing Collingwood this Friday describing his Giants as “the hottest team in the comp”.

The Perth local joined Wide World of Sports on Wednesday night to add a local flavour to AFL prelim finals week.

Taylor also jibed that the massive pro-Collingwood crowd expected at the MCG might be inaudible.

“I don’t mind the crowds, big or small, I sort of barely hear them to be honest, especially Collingwood fans, they’re pretty quiet.”

In an open, honest and excited chat ahead of the massive clash with the Pies, the key piece in the Giants defence explained how he relishes taking on the game’s best.

“For me personally, I love when teams have a big key forward. It’s so much fun playing footy and matching up against the best players.”
