Hale headmaster warns popular Netflix series could harm important conversations with teenage boys

Popular Netflix series Adolescence, which aimed to create discussion about young men and what they consume online has been criticised for “boy-bashing” by Hale headmaster Dean Dell’oro.
He told 6PR Perth Today the show wasn’t designed as an educational tool and could potentially harm necessary conversations with teenage boys.
“It’s great to see that this is raising awareness for the “manosphere”, but we just got to be really careful about how we speak to boys about this, otherwise we’re going to lose them,” he said.
