Halls Creek teens spread community fear over troublemaking TikTok’s
Lawlessness in Halls Creek has hit a breaking point as a crime epidemic has broken out in the community, prompting an emergency meeting this morning with police and community members.
Residents have made multiple reports of young people stealing cars, hooning in the suburbs and causing damage to properties in the area, all whilst bragging about their crimes online.
Shire President of Halls Creek, Malcom Edwards told Millsy and Karl onĀ 6PR Breakfast that it’s lucky no one has been killed.
“People have just had enough -it is a concern that somebody is going to be killed whether it be a pedestrian or a person in the vehicle,” Mr Edwards said.
“They want attention that’s what it is, these kids come from dysfunctional homes, homes that are overcrowded, there’s no love at home – all that doesn’t help.”
