The Cook Government’s Heritage Law reform is likely on its last legs, with almost universal opposition to the law from outside Parliament forcing Labor’s hand.

Gary Adshead criticised the State Government’s dogmatic handling of the proposed law changes on 6PR Mornings, highlighting the apparent “misplaced sense of righteousness” the government carried throughout the process.

WA Pastoralists and Graziers Association President Tony Seabrook told Gary Premier Roger Cook needs to bin the entire proposal.

“He’s got a dud law on his hands, and there was no call from the community for this,” Mr Seabrook said.
