Forget sharing apartments, or even sharing rooms: students are now creating rosters to share beds as the lack of housing continues to affect the most vulnerable.

Australian Institute of Management CEO Gary Martin told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast students are actually putting up their beds for rent on the Internet.

“It’s taken off with international students, and now it’s spread to the broader community,” Mr Martin said.

“I guess it’s an alternative to not having a bed.”
