‘Hotel from hell’: SA tourist latest scam victim of Perth City Apartments
Nicole Nourse was visiting Western Australia from Adelaide for a family member’s wedding, booking into the Perth City Apartments after a fellow friend recommended it for their stay.
Ms Nourse told Gary Adshead they were completely unaware of the controversy surrounding the hotel however became quickly equipped when the owner asked for a $400 security bond upon arrival, full payment for their four-night stay, and parking bay reservation.
“Eddie I believe is the one who took the bond and he said it was just a holding in case there was any damage to the room,” Ms Nourse said onĀ 6PR Breakfast.
Nicole detailed the disgusting state of the room with a strange odor in the air, mold on the floor, and pubic hair inside her bed.

“That was the final straw – we wanted to leave straight away but – all the accommodation in Perth was pretty much full – it was the hotel from hell.”
“We were informed if we did not stay we would not get our security deposit back and we would not be reimbursed for the room – and he said because I am entitled to it.”
