Brodee Elsdon from Naturaliste Charters is a Marine Biologist and photographer who witnessed approximately fifty Orcas hunting and feeding on a beaked whale, much to the amazement of a group of  onlooking tourists on the charter boat.

Events such as these provide a useful insight into the pod hierarchy and how the whale young are taught how to properly hunt and feed.
