How can identical twins have different ancestry?
Identical twins in the US did a DNA test and came up with completely different ancestry. Steve and Baz asked an ancestry expert how this could happen.
“The thing to remember about an ethnicity result from a genetic test is, it’s an estimate,” Brad Argent from ancestry.com.au told 6PR Breakfast.
“When they look at your DNA they make a comparison against other samples that they’ve got in order to determine where your ancestors may have come from,” he continued to explain.
