How old is your heart
21 Aussies are dying every day from a heart attack, but we now have a quick and easy way to assess our risk of a heart attack and stroke.
The Heart Foundation has created a heart age calculator to indicate your risk.
Steve and Baz both took the test and found their heart age is older than their actual age and asked the Heart Foundation’s Chief Medical Advisor if they should be worried.
“You shouldn’t be worried because the first step in doing something about it is to actually know there’s an issue here and none of you is at a big issue but it is a cause to reflect and think about what you could do about the numbers that went into that calculation,” Professor Garry Jennings told 6PR Breakfast.
