How the Walk for Women’s Cancer is saving lives
Michele Librizzi is lucky to be alive after surviving both ovarian and breast cancer, however, she is not wasting her second chance at life and is preparing for her 9th Walk for Women’s Cancer.
Participants can either walk 35km in the days leading up to the event or complete the marathon walk on the 29th of April with all the funds going to cancer research.
Ms Librizzi told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the event is life-changing for people with cancer.
“My motto is upright and breathing… one foot in front of the other,” said Ms Librizzi.
