We’re right in the middle of a period which causes much anxiety in a significant amount of the population: Christmas shopping.

While some challenges like parking, maneuvering through shopping centres and trying to stop yourself from screaming are inevitable, Consumer Protection Commissioner Trish Blake told Chrissy Morrissey on 6PR Afternoons there’s plenty you can do to protect yourself.

If you are running late, I wouldn’t put my faith in deliveries at this point in time,” Ms Blake said. 

“If you are, if you ordered early and the online stores promise to get it to you by Christmas and they don’t, then you would be entitled to a refund.”
