You would think that your leftover blood, urine and other pathology samples would go in the waste bin, destined for incineration, but a UWA senior research says they can actually be used again for research.

UWA senior research fellow at the School of Medicine Christine Carson spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Russell Collett and said our leftover pathology samples were “really useful material” to researchers who would occasionally use them to invent new methods to measure and diagnose illnesses.
