The American game show Jeopardy! will soon get an Australian adaptation on Channel Nine, replete with a fairly strange twist.

Entertainment guru Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the show would have an Australian identity, Australian contestants and potentially an Australian host, but would apparently not be filmed in Australia.

“How many episodes are they going to do? Is it a primetime thing or an afternoon thing?” Ford questioned.
