Famed futurist and former Google engineer Ray Kurzweil has predicted humans will achieve immortality by 2030, thanks to technological developments.

Australian-based futurist Keith Suter told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast Mr Kurzweil was a “genius” whose predictions usually turn out correct, so it’s worth taking the idea seriously.

“The first Australian to live to 120 is around at the moment… the problem is no-one’s told her,” Mr Suter said.
