‘I didn’t even vote for you’: Derm’s weird Grand Final encounter

Finals footy is often the spot for unexpected celebrity/politician selfies, but the encounters are not usually as strange as they were recently.
AFL Hall of Famer Dermott Brereton told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast his run-in with Federal Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell took on a bit of a strange turn when the pollie apparently skipped the queue to get a selfie.
“He quickly ran up, pushed past the last couple and said, ‘I’m the trade minister, you have to take a photo with me’, or something along those lines,” Brereton said.
“It was quite a funny moment, I thought.”
