I’m not single, I’m self-partnered
Former childhood star Emma Watson says she’s “self-partnered” rather than “single”, and well-known relationship expert says that mindset can be problematic.
“It is a conscious choice, it’s an empowered choice. It’s saying to the world ‘I’m not a victim’,” Married At First Sight’s Mel Schilling told Steve and Baz.
But she added, it could send the wrong message.
“My concern is though, is for your dating brand. What are you saying to the world, if you’re saying you’re self-partnered, are you actually pushing away potential partners?” Schilling says.
The 6PR Breakfast chimed in with why they’re remaining single.
