Independent candidate Shane Van Styn is proposing a policy to publicly ‘name and shame’ repeat offenders, ranging from thieves to paedophiles.

6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl questioned whether this approach could risk identifying innocent people.

“Some of these people have hundreds of offences to their names—hundreds—and are still protected from being identified. That is unacceptable. This is all about repeat offenders,” said Shane.
