Reports indicate that an international student studying for her nursing degree has been deported for allegedly plagiarising.

Border Force identified the issue, and the student is said to have admitted to the indiscretion.

6PR Breakfast show hosts Millsy and Karl asked Ken Purnell, Professor of Education at CQ University, whether this is a justified penalty for plagiarism.

“Such action would be heavy-handed,” he said.
