With ANZAC Day next week, the AFL and NRL are celebrating the people who have served their country by creating limited-edition guernseys.

However, these guernseys can be purchased by fans with most of the earnings going straight to the sporting clubs.

Perth Live host Oliver Peterson says the day is sacred and should not be commercialised by the sporting industry.

“I just don’t think pictures of battle, combat, the ANZAC spirit and symbols should be used by the football clubs or other commercial organisations for that matter to make any more money,” said Oly.
