Bestselling West-Australian author Craig Silvey is this week’s guest on 6PR’s Backstories.

Craig, who spent his childhood in the farming town of Mundijong, is now recognized as one of Australia’s most renowned authors.

His most successful book Jasper Jones sold over half a million copies and was adapted into a film in 2017.

“You spend your days more so in the company of the fictional people that you’re trying to create and respect by distilling their stories on the page accurately than the real people in your life that deserve better frankly,’ Silvey said.
