The contribution of the most influential West Australian artists is recognised every year through WAM’s Hall of Fame.

This year, much loved Perth alternative-rock band Jebediah receieved the honour of being inducted.

Kevin Mitchell told Jamie Burnett on Weekends the WAM award was a chance to reflect, and to say thanks to the WA community for always getting behind and supporting them.

The band also announced their first new album in 12 years, OIKS, out on April 12th, 2024 and available for pre-order now.

The Perth band made up of Frontman Kevin Mitchell, Brett Mitchell (drums), Vanessa Thornton (bass) and Chris Daymond (guitar) have joined an esteemed list of greats including Bon Scott, The Farriss Brothers, Tim Minchin, Suze DeMarchi and Johnny Young.

Listen to their new single RUBBERMAN and the full conversation with Kevin Mitchell on Weekends.
