English broadcaster and journalist, Jeremy Clarkson wrote a turbulent article about Meghan Markle in The Sun, claiming he “hates her” and that ” he’s dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”

ITV Network has decided to stand behind Jeremy Clarkson, allowing him keep his job, despite thousands of complaints about the column.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told 6PR Breakfast that the anger should be directed towards the editors of The Sun.

“If it was me I would not have signed off on that paragraph, I don’t care if he wrote a column on how much he hates Meghan Markle but I think when you draw upon references to violence, that is not acceptable,” Peter Ford said.
