Laws to ban live sheep exports have been passed by Parliament after Labor ignored last-minute lobbying from WA farmers. Independent research has found that shutting the industry would cost the region between $474m and $791m over the next 20 years.

Keep the Sheep campaign & president of the Broomehill-Tambellup Shire Michael White joined 6PR Mornings to discuss the impact this law will have on the industry. 

“The 107m package from the government is inadequate,” White said on 6PR Mornings.
