Let out a scream for stress
People feeling stressed while in isolation are being encouraged to let it all out with a scream.
And their efforts won’t go to waste with the screams being played over loudspeaker in a remote part of Iceland.
Dr Karl Kruszelnicki says it’s worth letting out a scream to let go of stress, but add in an expletive and it’s even better.
“It [screaming] helps relieve tension and we’ve gone a bit further and found that swear words can help not just relieve tension, but also can let you withstand pain for longer,” he told 6PR Breakfast.
