Liberal factions must put party first: Simpson
Former Liberal MP Tony Simpson has questioned whether certain factions within the Liberal Party need to start thinking about the good of the party rather than self interest.
Mr Simpson lost his seat of Darling Range and was one of the backers of a spill motion against Premier Colin Barnett last year.
He says that while he didn’t support Dean Nalder as leader, he did support the need for reinvigorating the party ahead of the state election and says that some factions within the Liberal Party are focused on self-interest ahead of the good of the party.
He spoke with Oliver Peterson.
