Libs demand apology after Marle’s press conference ‘attack’
The circling debate over the Federal Government’s handling of the High Court’s immigration detention decision has devolved into name-calling and personal accusations.
Deputy Liberal Leader Sussan ley has demanded an apology from Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus over his aggressive handling from a journalist during a press conference on Wednesday.
She told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the kind of behaviour Dreyfus displayed was not acceptable in Parliament House.
“Maybe the Government thought [Mr Dreyfus addressing media] was going to add an edge of credibility; it did anything but,” Ms Ley said.
