Lives and homes at risk in out-of-control Margaret River fire
Firefighters are struggling to contain an out-of-control bushfire near Margaret River.
An emergency warning has been extended for the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park south of Redgate Road, west of Bussell Highway, then Vlam Road and Caves Road, and north of Reserve Road in the shire of Augusta Margaret River.
The alert has been upgraded due to worsening conditions.
The fire started near the intersection of Caves Road and Calgardup Road in Boranup.
Lives and homes are in danger, and people in the area need to act immediately to survive.
