Lord mayor labels New Year’s fireworks a triumph

The return of the midnight New Year’s Eve fireworks show has been celebrated as a success by Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas.
Speaking with 6PR Breakfast hosts Mick and Ian, Zempilas noted that the large crowds indicate the event is likely to become a permanent fixture.
“I believe we can continue to grow this event,” he said.
