The Eagles have suffered a blow on the eve of round one with utility Elliot Yeo set to miss Saturday’s clash against North Melbourne.

The 29-year-old has been ruled out with a calf strain after reporting the issue at training yesterday.

Eagles midfielder Luke Shuey told Adam Papalia on WWOS he is confident the utility will be good for round two.

“He’s had a strong pre-season… hopefully he can turn a corner real quick,” said Shuey.
