A man in his 60’s is believed to have suffered a medical episode while behind the wheel of his Volkswagen Amarok.

The vehicle crossed a median strip onto the opposite side of Welshpool road, then smashed through an electric fence and into several parked cars at the John Hughes used car dealership in Welshpool.

A total of 11 vehicles were damaged, worth around $400,000.

Paramedics transported the man to Royal Perth hospital as a precaution.
