After spending nearly three months at sea and eating nothing but raw tuna, Tim Shaddock and Bella have stepped back on to land.

Nine News US correspondent Lauren Tomasi told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the Australian  pair were in remarkably good condition, likely thanks to their fishing gear.

“He doesn’t think he’ll lose the beard just yet, but he is looking forward to a shower,” Ms Tomasi said.

“When we asked him what his first meal was going to be, he said he’s going to have some tuna sushi.”
