A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Bentley.

6PR news reporter Anne Naylor told Liam Bartlett from the scene that witnesses saw a taxi collide with a silver sedan at the intersection of Queen and Pollock streets just before 8.30am.

Emergency services had to cut one driver free from his vehicle, and he was being treated in Royal Perth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“A man in his 50s was trapped in his car for a short period of time, and he had to be cut free,” she said.
