Amazing drone footage has come out of Marble Bar following Cyclone Zelia, with floodwaters washing away the roads in and out and an Aboriginal community completely underwater.

Perth Today host Simon Beaumont got a clearer picture of the situation from Marianne Cardona from Traveller’s Rest and Baz Harris from the Community Resource Centre.

The Marble Bar locals expect residents and visitors to be trapped in the town for a couple of weeks and are in talks with DFES to chopper in fresh produce.

“The footage is breathtaking as it is absolutely just crazy, there’s so much infrastructure issues around town,” said Baz
