Veteran journalist of 30 years Mark Gibson has announced he’ll run for Lord Mayor at the upcoming City of Perth election.

He’s the third person to officially declare he’ll run for the position.

Mr Gibson says he ‘lives and breathes’ the city – and wants to give it a fresh start.
