McGowan under fire for fierce attack on parents of regional towns
Premier Mark McGowan is under firing for his fierce attack on the parents of children who are permitted to roam the streets of regional towns, saying ‘parents need to parent.’
McGowan has insisted that the government has done their bit to curb youth crime in regional areas, whilst being accused for acting too slowly to strengthen its relationship with First Nations people.
WA Aboriginal Legal Service CEO Dennis Egginton told Gary Adshead he had high hopes for the state government when it came into power, but has been let down.
