WA’s opposition leader is planning to put the screws to Roger Cook over his fizzled school support package announcement, accusing the Government of laziness in its rollout.

WA Liberal Leader Libby Mettam told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings she will continue to question the government over decisions that, she argues, fly in the face of current conditions.

“Fees and charges are set to continue to rise under this government while they’re enjoying the largest boom in history,” Ms Mettam said.

“Roger Cook has said that this is about helping kids and families with children; it’s several weeks late. We’re nearly at the end of this term.”
