Michael Clarke’s ‘damning’ words during public altercation
Former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke has been caught on film in a public altercation where his partner accuses him of cheating on her and appears to slap him.
Clarke’s girlfriend Jade Yarbrough and Clarke can be heard yelling at each other in a Noosa park in the two-minute video filmed by a bystander and published by The Daily Telegraph.
Peter Ford, entertainment reporter, told 6PR Breakfast Jade’s affair allegations came from text messages between an on-and-off again girlfriend of Clarke.
“Something that Michael Clarke said that I think is really damning – is that twice he says ‘I swear on my daughter’s life it did not happen’ and you cannot call that card unless it is absolutely true. It is not a card you can just toss around,” Mr Ford said.
