Midnight Oil concert moved to RAC Arena due to unusual weather
The Midnight Oil concert scheduled for next Saturday has been moved to RAC Arena due to severe weather conditions.
Organiser Mellen Events has announced the original Swan Valley venue is flooded.
Managing Director Brad Mellen says the relocation from Nikola Estate is disappointing but is the right thing to do.
“We’ve made the hard decision to move the show indoors, it’s an unusual weather occurrence, but unfortunately, every now and then, we get unusual weather occurrences,” he said.
“The good news is that the show will still go on, and all the thousands and thousands of fans that have bought tickets to go see the Oils will get to see them on the same night at the RAC Arena.”
11-thousand tickets have been sold for the show.
