‘Minor changes’ could see hopeful end to Safe Night Space saga

The closure of the Safe Night Space which left multiple women on the street last week has potentially found an acceptable solution, with Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas finding another much-needed site with Uniting WA.
The closure of Ruah’s Safe Night Space in East Perth last week meant there was no longer shelter for drop-in vulnerable women in the city.
The potential resolution is hoped to be in place before Christmas.
“Clearly our community has needed a solution for what has happened over the last couple of weeks,” Mr Zempilas told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings.
