Molly Meldrum has denied intentionally dropping his pants onstage at Sir Elton John’s farewell show.

Video of the incident appeared to show Meldrum laughing, with his pants dropped to his knees, giving the crowd a view of his bare backside.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford, told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast that Molly arrived in a wheelchair and miraculously rose to his feet.

“Next thing you know he is being crowd surfed onto the stage, so like a snake he arrived on the stage and next thing he is up on his feet like a phoenix rising from the ashes. It was almost like a biblical story,” Mr Ford said.
