More than a quarter (27%) of Australians received a Christmas present yesterday which will be in the bin as early as today.

Nina Gbor, Director of the Circular Economy and Waste Program at the Australia Institute told Chrissy Morrissy on 6PR, ‘The simple solution is, to ask people what they want.’

‘Whats important is that its going to save us money, and it will prevent a lot of things from going into landfill,’ Gbor continued.
