With nowhere else to go, Amy and her three daughters faced the terrifying prospect of homelessness after mould made their home unlivable.

Amy said cases like hers highlight systemic failures in disability housing and support services.

South West Autism Network CEO Nick Avery stepped in to advocate for Amy when no one else could.

“It is disgusting and this is why it’s really critical that in the NDIS space we do have choices, so that we can take our business elsewhere if we’re not happy with the service that we’re being provided,” Nick Avery said on Perth Live.
