Cassius Turvey, the 15-year-old who was killed while walking home from school, has been laid to rest.

A private funeral was held for the teen’s family and friends, and was also live-streamed. He has been remembered for having “a smile like no other, that no one will forget.”

Mia Egerton-Warburton, 6PR and Nine News Perth reporter, told Oliver Peterson on Perth LiveĀ that their was not a dry eye in the entire church service.

“Including all of us journalists, it’s one of those things that you just can’t help get emotional about a young life getting taken far too soon,” Ms Egerton-Warburton told Oly.
