MPs aim to ease housing pressure in foreign investment crackdown
Two federal independent MPs are pushing for a two-year ban on foreign buyers in Australia’s residential property market.
The private member’s bill would restrict home sales to Australian citizens and permanent residents, and is modelled on similar laws in Canada.
